For all those in Australia, I hope your finding the time to keep healthy and warm as Winter does her thing and freezes all our fluffy bits off…
*keeps hers in a jar*
…and for all those Northern Hemisphere people, all I can say is lucky buggers
I haven’t put thought to fingers and typed out what has been happening around me for the last few months, so figured tonight was the night. The delay of my lack of blogginess was mainly due to editing and then re-publishing my first fiction novel Pride available here and partly as I was going through the motions of witnessing The Ripple Effect.
The Ripple Effect is what our energy (thoughts/actions) generate and bring to us what we desire, and repel from us what we do not need.
But with so many out there thinking Karma is a negative faerie that will delightfully pummel on the head all those you feel have done you wrong; record it, stick it on YouTube, tag you in a Facebook post so you can giggle, squeal and delight at the misgivings of others, send it onto friends saying SEEEE TOLD YOU!! it is just not the case. Pha-ewww!
Poor ol’ Karma has gotten such a bad rap from the neigh Sayers and Spiritually defunct that its lost its gleam and the true meaning of thought = action = reaction and so on has well and truly been lost.
Now this is the ‘tricky’ thing about the energy of The Ripple Effect.
Like that of a pebble tossed into a lake, it all depends on the intent of what you apply. In other words, how much energy you put into what you give out/get back.
Give = Receive
Honesty = Trust/Truth
Forgiveness = Hold Grudges.
If you give out love, you receive loving situations in return.
If you give honesty, you receive experiences of trust and truth.
If you are forgiving you receive peace filled situations, communications, experiences.Now look at it this way *and try not to shudder*
If you continually look at always receiving, you will be given situations where you will feel hard done by, lack and struggle.
If you break trust, gossip and lie you will be given situations where you will be mistrusted, always having to convince people you are telling the truth, and feel like your life is a lie.
If you hold grudges you will be given situations where you will continually seek forgiveness.Lets look back at the last few weeks of our lives. Has there been a situation or circumstance where you have had things land in your lap, your dream comes true, the promotion/romance/abundance has arrived on your doorstep? Has there been a situation or circumstance where you’ve had the wind knocked out of your sails without any warning?
Now… and this is the most important thing… ASK YOURSELF why you caused it?
YUP.. It’s all your doing. And you HAVE to OWN that to move forward; the good AND the not so good.
You have consciously drawn to you what you have been ‘putting out there’. Plain and simple. No one ‘does’ anything to you without your permission.
In an area of your life you have laid the path for The Ripple Effect to be in play.
I have seen The Ripple Effect so strongly in the last few weeks, from other peoples actions taking affect and running its course, marveling at how some people just don’t get it, and quite frankly, never will.
But that’s ok. Because that’s their path. And I have to believe that their doing the best they can; and I just need to continue to be honest, loving, and giving to myself first, and then others.
I own this energy. As I allow those around me to own their own.
Have you seen The Ripple Effect affect your own life lately?
